Our review
X-Pictures arrives with a glossy, well-designed homepage and a genuine breadth of tools: image generation, a deepnude/undress feature with direct Instagram URL support, an AI companion angle, and a video generation beta. The gallery filtering is granular in some respects — you can specify settings, poses, ethnicity, and body type — which gives intermediate users a decent amount of creative control before they even start prompting. Gallery images are stated to be copyright-free, which is a practical plus for anyone repurposing outputs.
The categorisation, however, is a mess. Ethnic options include Czech and Spanish but inexplicably omit Asian as a dedicated filter despite Asian content being prominently featured on the homepage. Age bracketing starts at 20–40, skipping any younger-adult tier entirely, then jumps to 40–60 and 60+. The site header includes a dropdown suggesting gay and trans content, but clicking it yields nothing — a broken UX promise that should simply be removed until the content exists. These are not minor gripes; they affect daily usability for a large slice of the audience.
The video beta is the most interesting and most unfinished part of the offering. Outputs are short, structurally repetitive, and prone to the glitchy motion artefacts that plague the sector right now. Charging full token rates for beta-quality video is difficult to justify in good conscience. The undress tool with Instagram URL ingestion is genuinely convenient, particularly on mobile where screenshotting degrades source quality. Pricing overall is described as less than competitive, which stings when the video feature is still clearly a work-in-progress. Worth watching as the tech matures, but manage expectations on cost-to-quality ratio today.
