Our review
HeartWhisper positions itself around character depth rather than raw model horsepower — a reasonable bet given how many companion apps collapse into generic chatbot behaviour after a dozen messages. The creation flow asks for tags, backstory, and a personality field, and the guidance is unusually honest about what actually works: a sentence of concrete biography outperforms a list of adjectives every time. Built-in archetypes (the soft romantic, the mischievous flirt, the rational type, the dramatic one) give newcomers a baseline to calibrate against before they write their own.
Image generation is included, with plain-language prompting and selectable aspect ratios. The advice to save seeds for character consistency is practical and the kind of detail that separates a tool aimed at actual users from a demo. Conversations stream token by token and are stored per account with no cross-user visibility. Registration requires only an email or a wallet signature — no real name, no card form at sign-up.
The financial side is unusual: top-ups run exclusively through crypto (TRON/USDT and USDC). That is a genuine privacy advantage and a genuine friction point depending on who you are. Coins gate extra image generations and premium features; the base chat is free. There is no mention of multiple underlying models or style-switching beyond the image aspect ratio options, so variety junkies may find it thin.
Uncensored roleplay is explicitly advertised, access is 18+ only, and the site is straightforward about it — no mealy-mouthed content policy language. For a companion-focused use case that is the right call.
